The 65th annual Primetime Emmy Award nominations were announced Thursday (July 18), with Ryan Murphy's FX miniseries "American Horror Story" leading with 17 nods. The HBO drama "Game of Thrones" follows close
behind with 16, as do ""Behind the Candelabra" and "Saturday Night Live" with 15 apiece. In the comedy
category, NBC's "30 Rock," which concluded its seven- season run in January, claims 13 nominations, and "Modern Family" follows with 12.
