Justin Drew Bieber was born to Pattie Mallette at the age of 18. His mother was a single mom, although his father Jeremy Bieber maintains contact with him. Justin was active in the church, where he sang and played instruments. As he grew, he taught himself to play the drums, guitar, piano and trumpet.. Justin Bieber is a Canadian born 16 year old (March 1, 1994) teen sensation.

In 2007 Justin Bieber won a singing competition. His mother posted the video on youtube, to share it with family and friends. She continued to do so and he started gaining popularity. Scott Braun came across one of his videos. Scott was a marketing executive that instantly saw Justin's star quality. He convinced the mom to let him take Justin to tape demos. Soon after he signed with Usher and the rest is history!
Since then, Justin's albums have gone platinum and his tours have sold out.
