Cody Simpson
Cody Simpson was born on the Gold Coast (Queensland Australia) on the 11th of January 1997. He currently sings pop/R&B and is signed onto the American record label Atlantic Records.
Rising to fame at an early age due to an appearance on a current affairs show, Cody struck a hit with his first single iYiYi. He is currently living is Los Angeles producing more music under the producer Shawn Campbell.
Cody has two younger siblings, and is interested in other activities such as swimming and has previously taken to Youtube to get his talents known to the world.
In August 2010 Cody won the Breakthrough Internet Sensation award in Los Angeles at the Breakthrough Of The Year Awards 2010.
The by late 2010 Cody had begun to tour the United States, even doing several free concerts along the way. During all this Cody recorded a number of songs for his debut album which is due to be released in time for Christmas 2010.

Cody was discovered on the internet by star producer Shawn Campbell (who has produced for artists like Jay-Z), who signed him as soon as possible to Atlantic Records, and flew the Aussie kid out to America to perform and make music professionally. By the end of May 2010, Cody had released his first official single “iYiYi” featuring rapper Flo Rida! The only catch to getting signed—Cody had to leave Australia for L.A. and start his life as a pop star.
- Before Cody became famous for his amazing vocal skills and songs, he was a champion swimmer, and won two Gold Medals at the Queensland Swimming Championships!
