According to TMZ, the only reason why Katy didn't file for the divorce was not to upset her religious parents.
The "firework" hitmaker having been brought up by a very religous evangelic family couldn't go against the religious laws that forbid divorce so she told her husband to file for it.!
Anyway this ain't bad news for some of us..coz now we know we still have a chance to go out with Katy...Dont We?
